Snow Melt Systems

We haven't had an opportunity to photograph any project lately. But we have one now. 1400 square foot snow melt system for an underground garage parking garage. The system incorporates a Baxi Luna condensing boiler, Wirsbo radiant panel and manifolds and a Tekmar snow melt control. The boiler has a stainless steel design so it can accept the cold water temperatures and the efficiency will just go up. The Tekmar control senses both outdoor temperature and moisture to signal when to bring on the boiler to melt the snow. Otherwise the system is off conserving energy. It only fires up when there is snow and its cold outside.
