Our licensed plumber will review with you what you would like to do within your DIY home improvement job. We then give you a step by step plan for completing your home improvement project, including having a licensed plumber handle the parts that are essential to the job being done correctly.
For example we tell you exactly what needs to be completed by you before we can prepare the rough-in (the rough-in is the part of the job that absolutely has to meet Ontario building code standards and the part that has a long term effect on your sewage and fresh water coming into your home – get the venting wrong and drains stop flowing and you could end up with a house that smells like a sewer, get the drainage wrong and things can back up and flood (water and raw sewage) causing thousands in smelly damage… in other words, don’t take chances on your most expensive investment – your home. We are here to make sure that the job gets done right the first time.
Once we complete the rough in you get to complete the renovation job by adding your own final touches (or you can have our licensed plumber complete the work for you).
You get to decide how much you want our plumbers to assist you in your do-it-yourself home improvement project; we are here to make sure you have the professional assistance to get the job done right.
When you have our licensed plumbers work in your home you are assured that we use only the best materials available and we never violate any plumbing or building code requirements. Weather there is a plumbing permit on the job or not the plumbing is done right. Every job we do has been installed and tested to Ontario Building Code standards and we guaranty it. All home renovation projects that we complete are covered by a full two years parts and labour guarantee.

Please note that many people shop for estimates years before they actually plan on doing the work – our estimates are based on current materials and labour costs and thus are only valid for 60 days. Prices are subject to change depending on changes in material or operation costs.
RENOVATION WARNING:
After taking a trip to a local hardware store it was discovered that many of the items on sale for home renovations actually don’t meet the strict plumbing codes in Ontario. Before buying parts, you should check to see if they are even up to code before installing them. There is nothing worse than spending hundreds of dollars on a renovation only to find out that it doesn’t pass a home inspection and you end up having to rip it all out and re-do it again at much higher prices. You can cut your losses drastically (saving up to 80%) by doing it right the first time. This is your most expensive investment, why pay more than you have to when you can have the peace of mind by hiring a professionally licensed and insured plumber.
Handymen are NOT licensed plumbers and do not come with any industry standard knowledge nor are they insurable. They may also negate your home owner’s insurance policy if they do any modifications to your home that aren’t up to the Ontario Building Code standard that cause damage to your home. Handymen are great for the little things, but when it comes to plumbing, electrical or gas – get it done right the first time so you don’t negate your homeowner’s insurance policy.
