If you notice an increase in your gas bill that isn't related to a gas price increase, odds are your gas boiler isn't operating as efficiently as it should be. It could be time for your annual boiler maintenance.

If you have a new boiler then it is absolutely essential that you have the annual maintenance performed to maintain the warranty (your warranty become null and void if you do not have the unit serviced annually by a licensed tradesman).

But with so many brands and models it can be challenging to know who is actually certified and knowledgeable enough to care for your boiler heating system.

If everything passes the safety check, inspection, operations testing and CO test then we will leave you with a receipt showing the results and make sure you are added to our annual boiler cleaning notification program.

Once added to our annual boiler cleaning notification program you never have to worry about remembering when to schedule your next cleaning - we will send you a notification reminder when it's time to have your annual service.

If there are problems with the boiler then we will notify you of the problem in writing with a written estimate on the costs to bring your unit back to maximum efficiency operations. If you decide to go ahead with the work we will perform the work for you right then and there (so long as there are available parts) at the quoted price. No hidden fees, you know up front before we ever do any work. That's the advantage to flat rate pricing.

Our technicians are also skilled in balancing your system making sure that air is removed from the radiators and valves adjusted to make sure that each room of your home is comfortably heated.

If your system was poorly installed by someone else we can suggest & perform upgrades to bring your system up to where it should be operating.  You shouldn't be cold in a home heated with properly installed and maintained radiant heating.

Annual Maintenance Plans:

We have been asked by many customers who are interested in annual maintenance plans why we don't offer them.... Well the truth is, we just can't take your money every month for a service you will rarely use. Our company is based on honour and integrity and we consider it a crime to take money from customers for nothing.

The average boiler will last anywhere from 15 to 50 years depending on the make and model. During the lifespan of a boiler you may need to replace a pump (average price $250 to $400) but if you read the fine print in almost every maintenance plan they exclude pumps - in fact they exclude most of the parts that will break down including the actual radiators that keep your rooms warm.

So you end up paying $20 to $40 per month ($240 to $480 per year x 15 years = $3,600.00 to $7,200.00). Now that is a HUGE waste of your hard earned money. We would be furious if our mothers were paying for that kind of useless insurance! So we aren't about to charge you or your family for the same worthless insurance.

Put your money back in your pockets and just take care of your boiler each year.  Even with the incidental repairs along the way it will still come out drastically cheaper than the so called maintenance plans.
